Back In The Day

Hi Again,

Today I give you my take on the prompt challenge over at Another Freakin' Scrappy Challenge

http://another-freaking-scrappy-challenge.blogspot.com.au/2014/04/prompt-challenge-1-april-2014.html

The Challenge was to scrap a pastime from your youth.

My favourite pastime when I was young was Ten-pin Bowling. I Started when I was 6, was bowling 5 times a week between ages of 15 & 18.

These types are challenges I find difficult as there are not many pic of me when I was young, don't know why, its just something my parents didn't do, perhaps that's why I am always taking heaps of pics & scrap now.  - so they will have heaps to look back on.

Anyhow, for this challenge I used all I had of me Bowling which was some newspaper clips.

What I liked about doing this Challenge was looking back on these times. I don't think I've looked at these in 20+years.

Have used White Kaisercraft Cardstock, Kaiser  Chevron Template with Mr Hueys Tan Mist.
PP, Stickers are from Kaiser Attitude  Range.

Thanks for Looking,
John.

  2. Love this, John - and so happy to hear that you enjoyed looking back at those years ago. That's what this blog is all about, and recording the story so that your children will know. Love the groupings of newspaper clippings, and how you have put it all together. Thanks for playing along with Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge - hope to see you here again soon!

  3. Shame about not having many photos from that time, but very awesome that you have the clippings! My parents never took many photos when we were growing up either - maybe because photo processing was too expensive??

Love how your page came together, and congrats on your shout-out at AFSC.
