As soon as I saw this sketch I thought of this photo. The Photo is of my Wife with our 2 boys taken

a couple of days after we came home with  our second boy Cody back in 2010.

Tyler wanting to help feed is new brother & giving Mum a kiss at the same time.

So Sweet.

The twist was to Ink edges & use Stamping

This is my son on his day of preschool 12 months ago.

 

Have used Kaisercraft Hopscotch  Range Of PP & Collectables. Have inked edges with

Black Soot Distress ink & also used it on the sentiment. Also used Bo bunny Stamps & the Title

Is stamps from Favourite Things.

This is My oldest Son on his last day of Preschool last year with his 2 teachers

 

PP comes from Kaiser Class Act Range. Have Used Kaiser & BoBunny Stamps, gesso Glimmer Mists,Washi tack & Distress Inks.

Today I give you my take on the Scrapfriends Sketch Challenge #23 March

The Sketch, which I knew I had to do as soon as I saw it



And my take on this sketch

 

The Photo's were taken on the Cable Car at Taronga Zoo of Me & My oldest Son back in Nov 2011 - doesn't seem that long ago.

 

Have used PP from Kaiser Pickled Pear on the background which I gessoed the chevron template & then covered with Tim Holtz distress embossing powder while still wet then heated. then dropped some Kaiser paint which I moved around with my finger. Die cut cog shapes , Then rest is PP, collectables & stickers from Kaiser Take Note.

Am posting my GD layout for the Orange Paperie & Co March Challenge,

The Challenge to create a vintage layout using Non Vintage Colours,

 

This is my Mother back in the 1950's approx. aged 6. Cub was a name my grandmother gave her.

 

Have used PP from Kaiser Butterfly Kisses  & Miss Empire which I painted Yellow.  Cut the pattern with friskars Advantedge Punch then embossed with Powder & dabbed some of the powder off. Heat embossed scrap fx frame. Used Prima Flowers & butterflies. Ric RAc & a flair from Studio FortyFourteen.
