Back again to share my take on the August Prompt challenge at Another Freakin Scrappy Challenge.

The prompt - Scrap or art journal about a favourite summer memory - from your long ago past, or recent past or right now!!!

My Layout is from a holiday my wife & myself took to Thailand in 2007 to vist friends. It was not summer at home - but certainly was summer in Thailand.

Choosing Photos for this one wasn't easy (only because I have a 100's for photos from 

on trip to the park). The ones I have choosen are times I remember best about 

the morning. The 11 odd waterfalls you come across, standing under the

waterfall, my wife sitting with her feet in the water getting nibbled by fish. 

Great memories.

Have used Kaisercraft Paradiso PP & collectables, also collectables from Check In Range,

  Gesso, texture paste with a Kaisercraft Stencil.  Distress Inks & 

Flair from Studio Fourteen40.

Loved doing this layout.

The Selfy

Stopping by to sneak my take on the August challenge #17  at Scrap Our Stash

The Challenge was to scrap a SELFY & use a pre-packaged frame.

I'm not a big taker of selfy's - but a challenge is that for a reason.

The PP i have used has been in a container since I first started - Not sure may have come 

from K-Mart. The frame around the pic would also have come from K-Mart (I Think).

But was completely the wrong colour so I hit the gesso & used Bo Bunny stamps to bring it into line.

Washi Tape from Kaisercraft, Collectables are also Kaisercraft. Kaisercraft Bubbles stencil & texture 

paste.

Everything I have used on this page I have had for a while. 

PP are from a Kaisercraft Timeless Paper pad I have had a while, Kaiser & Prima Paper flowers,

Timeless Icons collectables from Kaiser. Sissix dies, distress Inks, Gesso, cotton, Texture Paste & 

Kaiser Doily stencil.

The Photo is myself, My youngest Boy, My Friend Peter who I have known since 1983 and his young boy.

My Two Sons

Happy Monday everyone, (I can say that as I'm not at work)

Today I have Taken on the August challenge over at Scrap The Boys

This Months Challenge was profiling - What makes our boys tick. Here Goes

I put my boys together & conducted a little interview, I discided the best why to 

get it all in was to do a double.

I really enjoyed doing this layout & will ask the same questions to my boys in a 

years time, see how different the answers will be.

For this layout I have used Kaisercraft Attitude PP & collectables (a collection I 

brought a year ago, decided it was time to used). Used Kaiser Checkerplate & Chevron stencils

with texture paste.

I dont know if my layout is celebrating my age, as I turned 40 earlier this year. & have had a pretty tough
year since. But This is my layout;

This is Cody, photo taken as the Preschools Year Photos. This page is actually part of a 

double layout with the class photo on the other side. But I didn't feel I should be posting others 

children on here.
