My Take on the Nov Challenge

 

 

Did have fun creating the this sketch. PP is from Kaisercraft Basecoat range, Kaiser Liquoice & Stone cardstock. Diecuts are a Sissix Filmstrip, & spellbinders Cogs. Have Stamped the title & used texture paste on a brick template.

 

The photo is Myself & my groomsman a couple of hours before my wedding.

This is a photo of my wife at my brothers wedding in 2010. I cut the photo out as the background didn't do the photo justice.  I have used Hidden Treasure PP and collectables. Butterfly stamps are from Bonjour, Music & Title stamp also from Kaiser & black Kaiser card stock.

Mother & Sons (Orange Paperie & Co October Challenge)

Hello Again,

Here is my attempt at the Orange Paperie & Co October challenge - Black & White with a splash of colour.

The Photo is of my Mother, 2 of my Brothers & myself at my brothers wedding.

May be the first Layout I have done without a piece of PP in sight.
I Have used Black Kaiser Cardstock, inked with Cloud white Versamark Ink, Stamped the butterflies with same ink then embossed with clear embossing powder. Have stamped a piece of canvas & distressed an old book page. Photo frame is 2Crafty which I have inked & then Embossed with clear embossing powder,\.

The Flower vine is Made from wire, Washi Tape & Kaiser Paper Flowers. A bit of Kaiser Lace, some more washi tape, Fussy cut computer printed title & we are done.

High School Graduation (Orange Paperie September Challenge0

Hello All, September has been  a busy month. With being on holidays & everything these is the first layout for me in September.

The Challenge - A mood board. This is the first time I have attempted to gain inspiration from a mood board.



What I liked was the way the greens looked amongst the greys & whites on the Paris streets so I wanted to make a layout using those colours.

 



 This is Me & my Wife at her High School Graduation back in 1994. Have used PP from Kaisercraft After Five Collection & Secret Admirer. Collectables from Secret Admirer. Stamps are also Kaiser.

Word strips saying High School Graduation is PP that I cut to size, then ran through a Dymo 3D labeller & then went over the embossed lettering with a Sharpie.

My Easter Bunny - Home & Scrapped Challenge (August)

This is my oldest Boy. He did this at preschool & Made Mum bring him down to work to show me how he looked.

The challenge was to do a sketch & have used Creative Memories PP that I have had hanging around for ages. Have used an Embossing Folder on the pink PP.

Rise and Shine - Orange Paperie & Co August Challenge

Hi Everyone.  This is my attempt at the August Challenge. The Challenge - Chipboard & Flowers.

Here I have Used a template with texture paste. the stuck down my chipboard title & the sleepy ZZZZZ's. I then used a embossing folder for the sunburst at the top. Then cover the whole page including chipboard alpha's, then sprayed with glimmer mists. The flowers - yellow ribbon flowers from Craft Queen, Kaiser resin flowers in lower corner & the others I cut with a new die a purchased.
The Blue bear is stamped & the coloured with Kaisers new markers.

The Photo is of my youngest Boy at 1 month. I wanted to get a pic of him asleep & was lucky enough to get him yawning.

Never Grow Up (July Challenge at Once upon A Sketch)

Hi All. This Is My Attempt at The July challenge at Once Upon A Sketch.
The Sketch

The pic is my 2 boys, taken about 2 years ago now. Loved Their smiles and laughter which why the theme of grow (In particular  the phrase Never Grow Up made me think of this picture.

I Have used black Kaiser Cardstock, which I then swiped Gesso over. PP is Kaiser Class Act Range.

My 2nd Christmas

This Layout inspired by Bec July challenge at Home & Scrapped. This is a photo I have been wanting to do for a while as it is my grandmother & me when I Was about 1 & 9 months, Yes I am that old!

We Are Family (CSI Case 80)

Hi All. Today I have done my attempt at CSI Case 80. Have USed a sheet from Basecoat & 365 Days Range from this one. Kaiser Flowers & Chippies as well as some fantastic stuff from Craft Queen.

For This challenge I focused the changing face for my Family Over the last couple of years as my little boys grow. With family photos showing how much they have grown.

Melissa & Adam (Orange Paperie July Challenge)

Hi All. These is my attempt at the Orange Paperie July Challenge (The 3 S's). The Subject was A friends Wedding. My wife went to School with Melissa & was one of her Bridesmaids.

My Stencilling occurred on the Cardstock background. Using a 12X12 template I traced the whole template with a white Gel Pen then misted with Silver & Old Lace Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

The PP is On This Day from Kaiser. for Stitching, I hand stitched the pink PP Around the 2 centre photos with white Cotton. Stamping - on top Right hand corner is a flower stamp, & also on the right a florish stamp at bottom corner of the photo.

Bridesmaids

Another Layout for Home. This one was to use Green,, Pink & White. Didn't quite stick to that, but its the final result that matters as it will be what I have to look back on.
This was using The Lakehouse range, as I bought a few sheets & sticker sheet some time ago, Not sure why I bought them, but glad I had them from this.
My current Love for Layering paper seems to be continuing.
Anyway, the photo is My Wifes Bridesmaids.

In Deep Thought

My Attempt at AmyB's Challenge at Home. Used leftover Kaiser Marigold range with a few collectables from Lulu & Roy. Basically diagonally cut top sheet of PP cut out excess then distressed & peeled back & pasted a second sheet underneath. Then used the hole for my photo & embellishments.
We were at Cook Park & Tyler had a seat at a bench when I snapped this photo & I was wondering what he might be Thinking about.

This is my version of Marys Lovely Layout for last class I was unable to attend. Becky was nice enough to keep a kit for me. Thank You to you both. This is Tyler Not long before turning 2. Doesn't seem that long ago, but reality says it was nearly 3 Years. Gone By Too Fast.
